Change and Opportunity at WALKSacramento
In February, our Executive Director, Teri Duarte took a medical leave of absence. At the beginning of April, she found it necessary to resign from her position to focus on her wellness. As a leader in the community, she will remain active as a member of the Design 4 Active Sacramento Advisory Council. We will miss her in our day-to-day work, but look forward to her continued leadership and advocacy for healthy communities.
Although we look back fondly on our four years of Teri’s vision and hard work, we must now look forward. To continue the momentum and growth of WALKSacramento we have begun a search for an exceptional candidate for Executive Director. Below is a link to the recruitment ad.
