Voice Your Opinion

It is important that we voice our opinion on issues that we care about. The next time you want to voice your opinion about walking, walkable/livable communities, transportation, or other related issues; write a letter to the editor of one of the local newspapers listed below. Most newspapers like e-mail letters because they don't have to be re-typed. Before you write, check out our tips for having your letter accepted. Also, if you want to attend a City Council or Board of Supervisors meeting to voice your opinion, check the meeting agendas below for a particular topic(s).

If you want to write to your elected representative in the U. S. Congress regarding a particular bill or issue, go Thomas. Or look up a representative if you want to write to one out of your district.

You can also write to your elected representive in the California State Assembly or Senate regarding a particular bill or issue.
